The Journey 2026: Art Without Borders
Different countries, different artistic voices, one exhibition.
Photo 1 of 4
In 2026, I participated in The Journey for the third consecutive year. This time, the group exhibition, presented by International House and Queen City Art, brought together artists representing different countries, cultures, and creative perspectives.
The exhibition also had a new home: Queen City Art Gallery in Charlotte, offering a fresh setting for this annual celebration of art and cultural diversity.
Meet Nocturne
My featured artwork, Nocturne, depicts an owl surrounded by blooming flowers and intricate ornamental patterns.
Associated with wisdom and intuition, the owl emerges from a moonlit garden, creating an atmosphere of mystery and quiet reflection.
Many Artists, Many Stories
One of the most interesting aspects of The Journey was the variety of artistic voices gathered in one space. Each artist brought a different perspective, turning the gallery into a meeting point for cultures and creative ideas.
Visitors could also vote for their favorite artworks, adding an interactive element to the exhibition.
For me, it was a chance to present Nocturne alongside works by artists from around the world - each with a story of their own.
