Cold Warmth: A Petrykivka Painting Raises $375 for Refugee Support

My painting Cold Warmth was featured in the I Am Your Neighbor online charity auction benefiting Refugee Support Services, where it received a winning bid of $375.

Where Warm Meets Cool

Created using traditional Ukrainian Petrykivka painting techniques, Cold Warmth brings together golden-yellow and deep-blue backgrounds, each decorated with intricate floral patterns.

The composition explores the contrast between warm and cool colors while connecting them through a shared decorative language.

Art That Gives Back

The auction gave Cold Warmth a new home while contributing to fundraising efforts for refugees and newcomers.

Although I wasn't present at the event, the online auction result documented the painting's contribution: $375 raised through the sale of an original artwork.
